Image Preprocessing

Can I use image preprocessing in Mobile OCR Engine?

There are few options for the image preprocessing such as automatic skew correction. These options are accessible via TFineImageProcessingOptionsFlags in Native API, ImageProcessingOptions Class in Android wrapper and TMocrImageProcessingOptionsFlags in IOS wrapper. In Android wrapper there is also ImageLoadingOptions Class which represents the options for loading and preprocessing of JPEG and PNG images.

If you are interested in the image preprocessing please pay attention to another product of our company - ABBYY Mobile Imaging SDK. This ia the toolkit to analyze photos of documents captured with mobile devices to determine whether they are suitable for OCR or enhance their visual quality.
